So you have a trip planned with your little one. Now it's time to prepare and maybe you're wondering "What should I take? What should I leave? Truth is, there are some things that may be easy to get cross-culturally, while others may be bulkly or harder to source in a new country.
Here are a few tips to help:
In Your Carry On:
Change of Clothes (X4 for baby, X1 for you. Accidents might happen)
Diapers (x8 to get through 2 days)
Wipes
Snacks
Toys
Milk Powder if your little one is formula fed
Bottles (X2)
Diaper Changing Mat
In Your Suitcase:
Nail Clip
Long Sleeve Tops
Short Sleeve Tops
Shorts and/or Pants
Light Jacket or Hoodie
Travel Mattress Liner
Thermometer
Saline Solution
Toothbrush
Baby Toothpaste
Towel and Rag (I prefer not to use hotel towels on my little ones. I carry receiving blankets since they are less bulky)
Travel Size Baby Lotion & Soap/Shampoo
Hair Moisturizer
Comb/Brush
Hair Accessories (for Girls)
Socks (X5)
Weather Appropriate Shoes (X2 if possible. Especially younger babies may lose a shoe in transit)
Weather Appropriate Hat
Sunblock
Snacks
Did I miss anything? What else would you carry?
